Halloween Cards and more from a recent class.
Join us for a peek at the Halloween cards and more we made in a recent class. While these products are all from STAMPIN’ UP! where the focus is stamping, every once in awhile there is a die set that can stand alone!
The Frightful Tags die set is one of those sets! This set, combined with images from the Frightfully Cute stamps & Cutest Halloween bundle make this card so adorable.
With minimal stamping, you will assemble all the parts into an adorable little scene. Stampin’ UP! encourages us to CASE (copy and share everything). I CASED this card (with minor changes) from another demo.
Is it too late to join the fun?
If you are interested in making these cards, you still can!!
The kit includes all the paper, embellishments, card stock, and directions that are all needed to complete the cards.
Per Stampin’ UP! guidelines, stamped images will NOT be included in the kit. We are saving that fun part for you! You will receive a supply list so you can purchase the stamps that you need to complete the cards as they are. Or you can use stamps that you already own.
The class cost for 4 projects is $20 plus a $3 shipping fee. Contact me to order the kit. This offer runs through the end of the month or while kit supplies last…whichever comes first.
More Halloween Card Fun
Next up is a card created with products from the Cutest Halloween bundle, the Cutest Halloween Designer Series Paper (DSP) and die cut images from the Frightful Tag set. Since it is mid-September, one Halloween card is not enough.
The layout of the DSP is a great way to add color & pattern to your card front; not to mention, it’s a great way to use your great stash of DSP. Using one rectangle of DSP (which is double sided) and two cuts with your trimmer, you will have 4 triangles and 2 available patterns for your layout. I used the Cutest Halloween DSP collection on this card.
Several details were changed on this card for the class. Pumpkin Pie replaced the Highland Heather card stock while Gorgeous Grape served as the card base. Changing up the colors added more contrast between the elements on the card.
This little ghost from the Cutest Halloween set is a favorite of mine. Does it remind you of Casper the Friendly Ghost or is it just me?
Birthday Cards – you can never have too many of these ready to send.
The Counting Sheep stamp set and coordinating Sheep dies are whimsical and fun. You can find both items in the exclusive Sale-a-Bration (SAB) catalog. You can earn these FREE SAB items with qualifying purchases. The Counting Sheet stamp set is free with a $50 purchase as is the Sheep die set. SAB rewards are cumulative within any given order which means that with a $100 order, you can get the bundle of stamps and coordinating dies. SAB is over at the end of September.
Anyway, look at the simple stamping that is a part of this card! The card comes together very easily. In fact, it’s one of those cards where you can make a pile of them in a relatively short amount of time so you have plenty of birthday cards on hand. Prepping a set of these cards is a great way to use up bits and pieces of brightly colored DSP left over from other projects. (I also CASEd this card from another demonstrator.)
Always have a few Thank You cards on hand.
Last but not least, is a Thank You card. How many times do you think, I need to send a thank you but end up putting it off and maybe even forgetting to send it at all? Having a stack of Thank You cards readily available means the card can be on its way almost immediately. You won’t have to put if off and possibly forget.
For this card, I used the Feels Like Home Stamp set which is another exclusive (SAB) choice. Whether you love to color or not, this stamp set will work for you! You can color the image with colored pencils or you can stamp it and leave it as is. I opted for the monochromatic look.
Thank you
